We are delighted to announce that the winner of the 3rd annual Matt Carapiet Award for Humanitarian Architecture at University of Nottinghamis Ellie Ward.
The judging panel, which includes Matt's father Greg, some of Matt's friends and last year's winner Nefeli, thought Ellie's project for a Sheffield refugee shelter was inspiring.
She was presented with her award by Greg and his sister Denise at a ceremony on June 21. She won a £300 prize and a copy of a forthcoming book based on Matt's photography and journals. She will also join next year's judging panel.
