4th annual Matt Carapiet Award for Humanitarian Architecture awarded
We are delighted to announce that the winner of the 4th annual Matt Carapiet Award for Humanitarian Architecture at University of Nottingham is Thirza Clayton The judging panel, which includes some of Matt's friends and all previous year's winners thought Thirza’s project for a transitional safe house for female victims of human trafficking in Coventry was well thought through and translated into her design. Pedal power raised £3000 for trust
On 1st June Matt's father and a group of his colleagues at Jacob's Engineering Group cycled an incredible 100 miles from London to Brighton to raise money for the trust. Funds raised will support the Langtang medical centre where we hope to set up a dental facility and additional medical facilities. Over £3000 was raised through JustGiving and when added to the £5900 direct contributions, exceeded the £8000 target set. A huge thank you to all who took part and contributed to
